Join our cause to uplift people, animals, & the planet!

Our Work

Our philosophy is multi-faceted, aiming to uplift the next generation of Asian leaders while addressing critical issues in human health, education, and global child welfare. As we uplift humanity, we also advocate for the protection of endangered and neglected animals while promoting groundbreaking advancements in science, technology, and sustainability. Through these efforts, we strive to care for people, animals, and the planet, fostering a more equitable and sustainable future for all. We invite you to join our cause!

My Sister's House is a non-profit organization dedicated to serving Asian, Pacific Islander, and other underserved women and children affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. It provides a culturally responsive safe haven, job training, and community services tailored to their needs. Li Family Charitable Foundation sponsored their Run For A Safe Haven on October 26, 2024. We hope to lift up women and children in the Greater Sacramento area who have been affected by domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking. We also seek to encourage victims to come forward and to become survivors who rebuild their lives free from physical or sexual harm.

Donation to Wong-Tran Family For Brain Cancer Treatment & Medical Care

In November of 2024, 12 year old Darren Wong-Tran was diagnosed with medullablastoma, a particularly aggressive form of brain cancer. With mounting medical costs, his mother Nancy Wong spoke to Executive Director Jacqueline Cheung and applied for a medical needs grant. Li Family Charitable Foundation worked with iYa Taekwondo and created a GoFundMe. Jacqueline personally orchestrated the fundraising campaign and created a flyer.  From November 25 through December 25, 2024 all funds from the GoFundMe and sent to Nancy Wong's Venmo were matched, dollar for dollar by Li Family Charitable Foundation. Li Family Charitable Foundation will continue to help manage the GoFundMe for the Wong-Tran family even after the matching period is over.

2025 Projects

Asian Charitable Foundation | Chinese Charitable Foundation

In 2025, we will be expanding our reach in the United States and Singapore. We anticipate creating a scholarship program in the United States to help people of color who may be disadvantaged to attain a university or post secondary degree. In particular, we hope to give disadvantaged Asian, African American, and Hispanic young people a chance to attain a higher education. A few examples of disadvantaged youth would include the children of immigrants, those who would be the first in their family to attend university, individuals whose parents make at or below 185% of federal poverty level, orphans or children from a one parent household. By giving young people who may be disadvantaged a scholarship to attend a university, we hope to uplift their lives and their families as a whole.
